Why Switch to Cream Based Natural Deodorants?
Most people shy away from using cream based deodorants; we’ve become so accustomed to a deodorant having a particular shape and packaging that the idea of putting your finger in a jar and applying the contents to your underarms seems strange and foreign.
So why should you switch to a cream based application? For the same reasons you’ve switched to a natural deodorant in the first place; to use a product that is not only more effective but also a lot less harmful to your health.
Though the convenience of a stick deodorant is always appealing, in order for a stick deodorant to retain its consistency and shape it ultimately requires more ingredients to be melded together in order to act as a binding agent. A cream based deodorant on the other hand offers a more basic and natural ingredient list since it does not need to keep a certain shape but is simply poured into its container.
Cream deodorants are comprised of a number of ingredients including but not limited to essential oils, butters, baking soda, and coconut oil. All of these ingredients allow for cream deodorants to act in the same way that a moisturizer would. With such, a cream based deodorant has a much better chance to get absorbed into your skin and to start working a lot faster. As a perk, you also end up using a lot less product.
Although in most cases you should not judge a book by its cover, when it comes to picking a consistency for your next natural deodorant; judge away!
Based on packaging alone, a cream based deodorant lets you get more of the product you love since it comes in a jar and is not constrained to the design limitations of a roll on or stick applicator. You control how much you use based on your own personal needs.
